Start with breakfast at Café con Leche
Café con Leche welcomes outside visitors for breakfast and lunch. Its published menu includes Nicaraguan breakfast, French toast and smoothie bowls, with coffee options for a slow start before heading out.
Check its own food page for the current menu and service times. A breakfast included with a Café con Leche room is not a breakfast benefit attached to a Surf Ranch booking.

Ocean views at Magnific Rock
Magnific Rock’s open-air restaurant looks out over the Pacific, making it an option when the setting is part of your meal. Plan lunch or an evening drink around the coast rather than assuming every restaurant is within walking distance of your accommodation.
Check the restaurant’s current menu and arrangements before visiting. If you are planning a group meal, contact the venue directly about space and dietary requirements.
Pizza and ceviche at Taberna 99
At 99 Surf Lodge on Playa Popoyo, Taberna 99 describes a menu with Mediterranean influences, wood-fired Italian pizza, ceviche and homemade desserts. It is a useful option when your group wants several different styles of food at one stop.
The same property also lists Mesquite as a seasonal beach lounge. Check which venue is operating for your dates rather than treating seasonal offerings as permanent.

Asian fusion at El Tigre
El Tigre is the restaurant at La Jolla de Guasacate. Its Asian fusion offering provides a change of pace from a beachside seafood lunch, and the property welcomes restaurant visitors as well as hotel guests.
Consult its official restaurant page for current dishes and reservations. Arrange your return transport if you plan to stay for dinner.
A planned meal at Rancho Santana
La Finca y El Mar sits in Rancho Santana’s Clubhouse and presents food with Nicaraguan influences. Treat a visit as a planned outing and contact the property before traveling; access for outside visitors is subject to its reservation and seasonal policies.
Dining access does not mean use of every resort facility. Confirm the restaurant reservation, entry arrangements and any restrictions with Rancho Santana directly.

Keep a kitchen in the mix
A Surf Ranch house or condo gives you a kitchen for breakfasts, snacks and meals at your own pace. It can be especially useful for families or groups splitting their day between surfing and relaxing.
Our main shared restaurant and pool are opening soon. Until they open, plan around your accommodation’s kitchen and dining options in the area. Photos on this guide are from Surf Ranch’s own gallery, not photographs of the independent restaurants listed above.
Restaurant menus, schedules and visitor policies can change. The official links below are the best next step for current details. Tell each venue about allergies and dietary requirements before ordering.
